Assembly Technician (Temporary) – Albany, OR
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a company that applies a proprietary coating to existing solar arrays across North America, Europe, and Asia. Using a robotic applicator, this advanced coating improves solar panel performance by reducing reflection and minimizing buildup from dirt and debris.
We are currently seeking temporary Assembly Technicians to support robotic assembly operations. These roles are expected to run through June.
Work Location
Initial assembly work will take place in Albany, OR.
Schedule & Work Environment
Assembly Technicians based in Albany will work full-time, Monday through Friday, primarily indoors in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional outdoor work as needed.
Team members who advance to Field Technician roles may work approximately 40–50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on project needs.
Required Qualifications
Authorized to work legally in the United States
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
Willingness to follow company standards of business conduct
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability
Ability to safely use (or learn to use) tools such as:
Chop saw
Drill press
Hand tools
Power drills
Impact drivers
Other common shop tools
Ability to lift and maneuver 50–60 lbs, including lifting from ground level and overhead
Preferred Qualifications
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
Hands-on experience using the tools listed above
Experience supporting projects while following safety standards and quality control procedures
