Senior Accountant
Location: Lebanon, OR Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 annually Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
A growing advanced manufacturing organization in Lebanon, Oregon is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contributing to accurate financial reporting and operational insights.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial analysis, and maintaining strong accounting controls. This position partners closely with operations, supply chain, project teams, and financial planning teams to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Analyze financial results and investigate variances against budget and prior periods
Review journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper classification
Prepare and review complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Track and maintain oversight of capital purchases and capitalization activities
Review production variances and partner with operations to identify key drivers
Monitor project-related financial activity, including cost accumulation and budget-to-actual analysis
Serve as a primary contact for internal and external auditors
Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and efficiency
Assist with financial system enhancements, testing, and implementation
Provide guidance and informal mentoring to accounting team members
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
6+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
CPA or CMA certification
Experience with long-term contract accounting or job costing
Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
