Position Summary
The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely operating forklifts while supporting warehouse operations. This role requires the ability to work in temperature-controlled environments, perform heavy lifting, and adapt to varying schedules based on customer needs. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently (approximately 70% of the role).
Perform warehouse duties including case picking, stacking, and general support tasks (approximately 30% of the role).
Work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from -20°F to +70°F (PPE provided for cold conditions).
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
Maintain accurate handling and storage of products according to company standards.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
Work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year forklift operating experience.
Ability to work in cold storage environments (as low as -20°F).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Dependable with strong attendance record.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Working Conditions
