Maintenance Technician
Location: Harrisburg, OR
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and work areas. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, troubleshooting issues, and keeping equipment and operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, and facilities.
- Inspect equipment and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Assist with preventative maintenance to help keep equipment operating properly.
- Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform general grounds and facility maintenance as needed.
- Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areas.
- Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and report problems to supervisors.
- Replace or repair basic components as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other maintenance and general labor duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, construction, or general labor experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify basic equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and instructions
