Green Chain Puller
Location: Monroe, ORSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMPay Rate: $19.00/hourAttendance Incentive: Earn an additional $1.50/hour shift differential each week with perfect attendance.
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join a lumber production team as a Green Chain Puller. This role is responsible for sorting, stacking, and organizing freshly cut lumber as it moves through the production line. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, and thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pull and sort lumber from the green chain conveyor system.
Inspect lumber for size, grade, and quality standards.
Stack and organize lumber according to company specifications.
Remove defective or damaged materials from the production line.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies.
Assist with other production and yard duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, lumber mill, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving lumber throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
