Greenhouse Associate
Pay: $20.00Schedule: Temporary Assignment
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Greenhouse Associates to assist with greenhouse and agricultural research operations during a 2-day temporary assignment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working both indoors and outdoors in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
Plant seeds and seedlings in greenhouse trays.
Transplant seedlings into field research plots.
Assist with collecting and recording research data.
Help clean and process harvested seed.
Maintain research plots by removing weeds and supporting general plot upkeep.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a greenhouse and outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Capable of lifting up to 30–50 pounds as needed.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Previous greenhouse, farming, nursery, or agricultural experience is a plus, but not required.
