Parts Manager
Location: Gresham, OR
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour, Depending on Experience
A locally owned and operated auto repair shop in Gresham with a strong reputation for honest work and exceptional customer service is seeking a Parts Manager to join their team! We’re currently looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable candidate to help keep the shop running efficiently.
Job Summary:
As the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering parts, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the technicians have the right parts when they need them. This is a key role that supports productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage daily inventory of automotive parts and supplies
· Order parts from vendors and maintain supplier relationships
· Track parts using inventory management systems
· Coordinate with service advisors and technicians on part needs
· Process returns, warranties, and core charges
· Keep the parts department clean, organized, and well-stocked
· Monitor pricing and ensure cost-effective purchasing
· Label and stock incoming parts
Qualifications:
· 6 months to 1 year of transferable experience in a similar role
· Previous experience in parts management (automotive)
· CCC One experience preferred
· Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
· Experience with inventory software
· Strong communication and customer service skills
