Front Desk Customer Service - up to $20/hr
A local company in inner SE Portland is looking for a Front Counter Customer Service associate to join their team! This company specializes in the creation and sharpening of saw blades. Qualified candidates will have previous sales and customer service experience, great administrative skills, and will feel comfortable working in a shop environment.
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Front Counter Sales Associate Job Duties:
- Greet customers
- Answer phones
- Write up orders
- Write up and send out invoices
- File and organize work area
- Coordinate with staff to ensure high levels of customer service
- Answer customer questions
- Performing parts counter sales functions and administrative duties
Front Counter Sales Associate Job Requirements:
- Previous customer service and sales experience
- Previous experience in auto parts or industrial environment is a plus!
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Must be reliable and willing to commit to the job long term
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, lift up to 50lbs. occasionally
- Ability to be communicative and work well with a team
