The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the physical handling of freight, ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Safely operate electric and propane forklifts, as well as manual and automatic pallet jacks.

Freight Handling: Load and unload inbound/outbound freight across various truck sizes; stage freight efficiently within the warehouse.

Documentation: Read and comprehend shipping documents to ensure the correct freight is processed; accurately record weights and dimensions.

Packaging: Utilize tools and materials to package cargo securely for transit.

Maintenance: Assist in keeping the warehouse and surrounding property clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.

Team Support: Follow supervisor instructions and support company objectives to meet time-critical deadlines.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and current forklift certification (with proven experience).

Physical Stamina: * Ability to lift up to 70 lbs to waist height frequently.

Communication: Strong organizational skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers.
