Material Handler – Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 12:00 PM–8:30 PM
Location: Portland, OR
We’re hiring two Material Handlers for a well-established Portland company offering long-term career potential. This hands-on role supports Production, Inventory, and Warehouse teams by keeping raw materials and finished goods moving accurately and efficiently.
This is a great fit for someone who is fast-paced, tech-savvy, adaptable, and good at figuring things out. Candidates from restaurants, kitchens, food and beverage, production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Move and organize raw materials and finished goods
- Use hand trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment
- Track inventory movements in an ERP/inventory system
- Work closely with Production, Inventory, and Warehouse teams
- Troubleshoot issues and adjust to changing priorities
- Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong critical-thinking, organization, and attention to detail
- Comfortable with computers and learning ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and work on your feet
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required; must be willing and comfortable learning
