Welder / Fabricator
Location: Northeast Portland, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $24-$32 DOE
Join Our Team
We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components while producing high-quality welds that meet project specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience with multiple welding processes, can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, structural integrity, and compliance with project requirements.
- Measure, cut, fit, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications
Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing shop.
- Experience welding steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum.
Skills
- Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Precision welding and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic math, measuring, and layout skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
