Schedule: M - F 4pm - Midnight

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dock Administrator to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. The Dock Admin will play a vital role in coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing inventory data, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient supply chain management while supporting seamless order fulfillment and trade compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to accuracy and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely load and unload operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software and ERP systems.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to facilitate order picking, packing, and stocking procedures.
  • Manage data entry related to shipments, inventory levels, and order processing
  • Assist with order fulfillment processes, including picking & packing, packaging, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
  • Support logistics functions by tracking shipping & receiving schedules and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely during load & unload tasks.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipment issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to trade compliance standards and shipping logistics protocols.
  • Maintain organized records of all shipping documents, invoices, and inventory transactions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations and distribution efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics roles.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and inventory management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data entry and reporting.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to order fulfillment.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred.
