Material Handler – Swing Shift

Pay: $19–$23/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Opportunity: Temporary position with potential to become full-time
Overtime: Occasional additional voluntary hours may be available

We are seeking a reliable, organized Material Handler to support manufacturing operations on swing shift. This role is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility, maintaining accurate inventory records, and making sure production teams have the parts and supplies they need.

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse or material handling experience who enjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Move materials between receiving, storage, machining, assembly, maintenance, and other work areas

  • Pick, stage, transfer, and deliver materials to support production

  • Maintain accurate inventory quantities and locations within the MRP system

  • Help locate and expedite materials needed to prevent production shortages

  • Verify part numbers, quantities, work orders, and related documentation

  • Weigh and process parts being sent to or received from outside vendors

  • Investigate and help resolve inventory discrepancies

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment

  • Use basic hand tools as needed

  • Follow established safety procedures, including requirements for handling and labeling hazardous materials

  • Maintain flexibility and reprioritize work based on changing production needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous material handling, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy

  • Basic computer skills; experience with MRP or inventory systems is a plus

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures

  • Dependable, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

  • Forklift or riding pallet jack experience preferred; training and certification can be provided

  • Ability to remain flexible as production priorities change

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position requiring frequent standing
