Inside Sales Representative
Do you have inside sales experience, love providing outstanding customer service, and enjoy promoting great products? Express Employment Professionals in East Portland is currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative for a leading distributor of wholesale transmissions and transmission parts. Job duties and requirements are below.
Inside Sales Pay Rate: $20/hr
Inside Sales Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift
Inside Sales Representative Job Duties:
- Answer phone, take orders and service customers as required.
- Assist customers at will-call counter.
- Promote and sell monthly specials or any other special items.
- Call appropriate customers as required for delivery or shipment orders.
- Pull orders on main floor for will-call, delivery or shipping. Assist in assembling delivery orders.
- Receive supplier stock orders within individual areas of responsibility, checking shipping condition and quantity received. Stock shelves and overstock as required.
- Communicate with inventory department any discrepancies or anticipated out of stock items.
- Fulfill cycle counting and inventory requirements as required.
- Inspect all returned merchandise, credit using PSA function and ensure product is in good, saleable condition before returning to shelf.
- Maintain warehouse appearance to include sweeping, dusting, emptying garbage, recycling, etc.
- Occasional fill-in as driver for local parts deliveries as required
Inside Sales Representative Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Must be good with numbers
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be a team player and willing to support your coworkers when needed
- Basic computer skills: word processing, data entry, email, excel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License & good driving record
- General Automotive knowledge preferred
