Production Assistant

About the Role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Production Assistant to support manufacturing operations by handling administrative tasks, processing work orders, maintaining records, and entering data into the ERP system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth production flow, accurate documentation, and timely completion of orders. You’ll work closely with production leadership, quality, inventory, shipping, and customer service teams to keep daily operations running efficiently.

Job Highlights

• Enter production data into ERP, spreadsheets, and QMS systems
• Maintain production reports, files, and documentation
• Process work order packets and ensure all materials are accurate and complete
• Review and prioritize job routers with Production; act as liaison between Production and Customer Service
• Create and update routers for all production jobs
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies or escalate issues to leadership
• Write and distribute production recap emails to managers and supervisors
• Assist or provide backup support in quality, inventory, shipping, and related areas
• Support daily activities and operational projects as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of manufacturing requirements and production planning
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft 365)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Accountability, professionalism, and strong safety awareness
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable working in a production environment with exposure to mechanical equipment, fumes, and varying temperatures

Position Details

• Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Work Environment: Manufacturing and warehouse areas with exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and occasional temperature changes
• Travel: None required
