Job Summary

The Rewinder Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring rewinder machines used in the production of pressure-sensitive tapes and labels. This role ensures finished rolls meet customer specifications for size, quality, and appearance while maintaining safety, efficiency, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust rewinder machines for tape and label products
• Read and follow production orders, job tickets, and specifications
• Inspect material during and after rewinding for defects (wrinkles, telescoping, edge damage, incorrect counts, etc.)
• Measure roll dimensions, core sizes, and counts to ensure accuracy
• Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
• Maintain proper tension, alignment, and roll quality throughout production
• Record production data, scrap, and downtime accurately
• Keep work area clean and organized according to safety and quality standards
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work closely with supervisors and other operators to meet daily production goals
