Position Overview
The Supervising Accountant is responsible for overseeing accounting staff and applying accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare accurate financial reports.
Essential Job Functions

Supervise and support general ledger and accounts payable staff

Oversee the monthly financial close process

Prepare and review journal entries, worksheets, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP

Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including statements of partners’ capital and other assigned reports
Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field required

3+ years of general ledger experience preferred; MBA/CPA a plus

Prior casino or hospitality accounting experience preferred

Advanced Excel skills with ability to build detailed spreadsheets

Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred
