Job Title: Forklift Operator (Building Materials Distribution)
Location: Delanco, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 1st Shift
Position Overview:
A leading, nationwide distributor of building materials is seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators to join their warehouse team. This company supplies a wide range of products including lumber, plywood, engineered wood, siding, and other construction materials to contractors and retailers across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload building materials
- Pull and stage orders accurately for shipment
- Load trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution
- Perform routine equipment inspections and follow safety procedures
- Assist with inventory control and general warehouse duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required (sit-down preferred)
- Experience handling lumber or heavy building materials is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Steel toe boots required
