Express is hiring an Accountant for a Consulting Firm in Pittsburgh, Pa.

$16-$20 per hour

Full Time

M-F 830am-5:00pm

Requirements:

Accounting

Record financial data into QuickBooks (i.e. accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenues and expenses).
Performing bank reconciliations.
Posting journal entries.
Generating financial statement and variance reports.
Responding to client inquires.
Perform financial analysis and forecast of financial statements.
Creation of Financial Dash Board Template o Create Internal Control procedures.
Formalize reconciliation procedures.
Provide a written summary of financial variances.
Make recommendation - policies, procedures, and best practices.
Other duties as assigned.

Auditing

Prepared audit, review, and compilation financial statements in accordance with GAAP for non-profit & for-profit organizations.
Performed substantive tests on areas such as payroll, travel, inventory, leases, assets, liabilities, disbursements, property, and equipment.
Evaluate and test internal controls over financial reporting as part of financial statement audit.
Provide feedback to client.

Tax Return Preparation

Preparation and filing of the following tax returns: 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065 & 990.
