Express is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a manufacturing company in Irwin, PA!

Shift
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
- (Overtime may be required outside these hours)

Job Duties of the Shift Supervisor:
• Oversee daily production operations on your assigned shift to meet quality, production and safety goals
• Coordinate and assign tasks to crew leaders, machine operators, and material handlers, ensuring workflow meets schedule
• Monitor performance metrics, attendance, downtime, scrap/rework and initiate corrective actions
• Ensure startup and shutdown procedures are followed, and resources are optimized for each production run
• Communicate with other shift leads, production scheduling, engineering and management to align priorities and resolve issues
• Maintain documentation of process parameters, work instructions, and quality records
• Conduct 5S audits, enforce housekeeping standards and create efficient work routing
• Other duties as required
Qualifications of the Shift Supervisor:
• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in manufacturing/engineering preferred)
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of press, mold or machine shop operations preferred
• Strong computer literacy, familiar with ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced production setting
• Willingness to work flexible hours including the designated shift and occasional overtime
