Express is hiring experienced Machine Operators for a Machine Shop in Mount Braddock!

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Machine Setup: Help the machinist set up the machine for work.
- Position Work Pieces: Use a hoist and hoist operations to position workpieces correctly against a stop.
- Machine Operation: Start and watch the machine to make sure it's working correctly and within tolerances.
- Measurements: Use tools like micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks to check if the machine's work is accurate.
- Finishing Touches: Remove any rough edges, burrs, or sharp spots on the workpieces using tools like a portable grinder, hand file, or scraper.
- Workpiece Handling: Assist the machinist in stacking, marking, and moving finished workpieces.
- Safety and Quality: Always operate equipment following safety and quality control standards.
- Tools: Either have the necessary tools for the job or be willing to acquire them through a company-funded plan.
Requirements of the Machine Operator:
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to stand for over 6 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 3 years experience in Manufacturing
