A great company in Piedmont SC looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic!
Pay: $20-30/hour depending on experience
Schedule: M-F 7am-4:30pm; OT as needed
Responsibilities:
1. Repairs, maintains and/or overhauls diesel and gas, standard and specialized equipment including engines, brakes, transmissions. Springs, rear- end and front loaders, hydraulics, fuel systems, air systems, air leaks, forklifts, and container handlers.
2. Troubleshoots, analyzes and diagnosing a variety of equipment problems including Trucks, tractors, hydraulic operated pumps, small engine equipment and other equipment as necessary.
3. Responds to road-service calls in a timely manner, service and repairs disabled equipment promptly.
4. Uses specialized hand and power tools to make and complete repair including welding and fabrication tools and materials.
5. Assists in maintaining inventory and equipment records; requisitions parts, supplies, tools, equipment and other items as directed.
