The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of highly skilled duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and facility equipment. This role supports both scheduled maintenance and urgent, unscheduled repairs to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. Experience in non-wovens is a must.

Install, maintain, and repair production machines and facility equipment, performing a diverse range of technical tasks.

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production, as well as scheduled maintenance during planned machine downtime.

Perform basic machinist duties and responsibilities as needed.

Execute maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing troubleshooting and repairs.

Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to determine maintenance procedures and requirements.

Diagnose equipment issues, repair or replace faulty components, and perform testing and adjustments to ensure proper functioning.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility systems.

Operate a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment in the course of maintenance work.

Identify faulty operations or defective materials and promptly report issues or unusual conditions to appropriate supervisors.

Follow all safety regulations and maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned to support plant operations.
