Landscape Assistant
$18/hr
Monday-Friday
Myrtle Beach, SC
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation projects, including:
- Preparing and edging flower beds
- Planting flowers, shrubs, and small trees
- Spreading mulch, soil, and other materials
- Perform routine landscape maintenance such as:
- Weeding, pruning, and trimming
- Raking, debris removal, and general site cleanup
- Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment safely (hand tools, wheelbarrows, trimmers, etc.)
- Follow instructions from crew leaders and work effectively as part of a team
- Ensure all job sites are clean, safe, and meet company quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience planting flower beds and shrubs (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with irrigation installation or basic landscape design
- Familiarity with plant types, soil conditions, and seasonal care
- Comfort using small power equipment
