Local Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) / Warehouse Associate
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Local Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) who is also able to assist with general warehouse duties. This role ensures timely, accurate deliveries to customers while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations such as loading, unloading, inventory handling, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Duties (Primary)
- Safely operate a company vehicle (non-CDL) to deliver products to local customers.
- Load and unload delivery items using proper lifting techniques and/or equipment.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain required delivery documentation or signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all delivery locations.
- Follow all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and delivery protocols.
Warehouse Duties (Secondary)
- Assist with receiving, stocking, tagging, and organizing inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for delivery or customer pickup.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Support other warehouse or logistics tasks as required by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and handle physical work safely.
- Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable using basic technology (delivery apps, scanners, or tablets).
