Position Summary

The Guest Service Agent is the primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their stay. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized guest experience that reflects the brand standards of a luxury vacation rental company. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for guests via phone, email, text, and booking platforms
  • Provide warm, professional, and timely communication throughout the entire guest journey
  • Coordinate pre-arrival details including check-in instructions, property features, and local recommendations
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns during their stay
  • Resolve issues with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Manage reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests
  • Accurately input and maintain guest information in property management systems
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure properties meet luxury standards
  • Uphold and reflect the company’s luxury brand standards in all guest interactions
  • Build positive relationships that encourage repeat guests and positive reviews
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations whenever possible

Qualifications

Required

  • 1+ year of experience in hospitality, customer service, vacation rentals, or luxury accommodations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Proficiency with computers and reservation or CRM systems

Preferred

  • Experience with luxury hotels or vacation rental management
  • Knowledge of local attractions, dining, and activities
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, or property management software
