Job Summary

The Custom Closet Installation Specialist is responsible for the on-site installation of custom-designed closet and storage systems in residential and light commercial settings. This role requires strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service to ensure each installation meets design specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install custom closet systems, cabinetry, shelving, drawers, and accessories according to design plans
• Accurately read and interpret installation drawings and measurements
• Perform precise on-site measurements and make adjustments as needed
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Secure systems to walls, floors, and ceilings while ensuring proper alignment and finish
• Communicate professionally with customers during installations
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues on-site when possible
• Load, transport, and unload materials and tools
• Follow company installation standards, safety procedures, and schedules
• Report material shortages, damages, or job concerns to management

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in carpentry, cabinetry, closet installation, or related construction work
• Strong measuring, leveling, and layout skills
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and installation plans
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for long periods
