CDL Driver (Roll-Off & Dump Truck) Job Description
Job Title: CDL Driver - Roll-Off & Dump Truck
Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to operate roll-off trucks and dump trucks for the transportation of waste, debris, aggregates, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, a strong commitment to safety, and experience operating heavy commercial vehicles in construction, demolition, waste management, or hauling environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate roll-off trucks and dump trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport construction debris, waste materials, aggregates, dirt, gravel, and other materials to and from designated locations.
- Deliver and pick up roll-off containers at customer sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
- Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with all load-weight restrictions.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and supervisors regarding schedules and job requirements.
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws while operating equipment.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and site cleanup duties when necessary.
- Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations.
