Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join a local client's team . In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered bucket trucks and related equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines on bucket trucks
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on trucks or heavy equipment
- Identify and replace faulty components and parts
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed and accurate service records
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
- Prior diesel mechanic experience required
- Valid CDL Class A license required
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must provide your own tools
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Schedule: Monday–Friday 1st shift
Salary: $23hr+ based on experience
