Position: Surveyor Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surveying crew with daily tasks on commercial and residential sites.
- Operate and drive a company truck to different job locations.
- Perform extensive walking, sometimes over long distances, in varying environments.
- Navigate through brush, rivers, streams, and come in contact with bugs and other wildlife.
- Follow detailed instructions from the surveying team.
- Ensure accurate and precise data collection under the guidance of the lead surveyor.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Physically capable of performing long walks and working in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as walking through brush and wading through rivers and streams.
- Strong ability to take and follow directions accurately.
- Prior experience in surveying or a related field is a plus but not required.
