Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Senior Cost Analyst to support manufacturing operations at a local facility in Central East Texas. This role partners closely with plant leadership to drive financial accuracy, cost control, and operational performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Support plant leadership with financial analysis and decision‑making
• Manage job costing, work order accuracy, and WIP analysis
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and month‑end variance reports
• Analyze profitability of products and plant functions
• Ensure inventory accuracy and SOX compliance
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting to operations and production teams

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and organized
• Hyperion/SmartView experience a plus
