Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Material Yard Manager position for an Bryan/College Station company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in the BCS area that have full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:

Oversee daily material yard and warehouse operations

Receive incoming shipments and accurately enter inventory into the computer system

Stock shelves and organize materials in designated locations
-
Pull inventory and prepare customer orders accurately
-
Load and unload trucks using a forklift
-
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts
-
Use basic math skills to calculate material quantities and measurements
-
Operate a forklift safely (training will be provided)
-
Sweep and maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
-
Take initiative to complete daily tasks without constant supervision
-
Follow all company safety procedures
We like to hear from candidates with the following:

Must be able to speak, read, and write English
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
-
Strong computer and data-entry skills
-
Previous warehouse, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred

Forklift experience is a plus, but training is provided

Good basic math skills, including measurements and quantity calculations

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work independently

Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift
