Position Overview
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join a fast-paced and customer-driven team. This role is responsible for managing incoming calls, processing quotes and orders, supporting the outside sales team with projections, and providing exceptional service to customers, vendors, and contractors both over the phone and in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming sales calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and process customer quotes, converting them into orders when applicable.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team on projections and account support.
- Provide product knowledge, pricing, and solutions to customers, vendors, and contractors.
- Assist walk-in customers with orders and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate data entry in Eclipse Software for quotes, orders, and inventory.
- Ensure attention to detail when handling orders and account information.
- Uphold a strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and customer-first approach.
Qualifications
- Previous inside sales or counter sales experience preferred.
- Electrical supply knowledge/background strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification (sit-down) a plus, but not required.
- Spanish bilingual a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with order entry systems; experience with Eclipse Software a plus.
