HR Generalist
Primary Responsibilities
· Employee Lifecycle
o Lead onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors; maintain accurate records.
o Manage payroll processes, related platforms, and year-end tax forms.
o Oversee 90-day and annual reviews; track performance documentation as needed.
· Culture
o Partner with leadership to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and trust.
o Drive engagement through recognition, feedback, and employee initiatives.
o Manage PTO and leave policies consistently.
· Hiring
o Lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
o Manage ATS pipelines, postings, and candidate communication.
o Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and prepare offers.
o Provide recruiting analytics on sources, time-to-fill, and pipeline health.
· Policies & Compliance
o Monitor federal and state legislation; advise leadership on updates.
o Own HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
· Benefits
o Administer health and insurance programs; act as first-line support.
o Evaluate benefits and provide recommendations for renewals and negotiations.
· General
o Serve as primary HR contact for employees.
o Maintain or pursue relevant HR certifications.
o Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; PHR/SHRM preferred.
· 3–5+ years HR experience with strong recruiting expertise.
· Solid understanding of HR compliance and employment law.
