Job Title: Inventory Clerk - Immediate start

Job Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse by performing routine cycle counts and reconciling variances between physical stock and system data. This role plays a key part in supporting warehouse efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and minimizing discrepancies to meet operational and customer standards.
Major Responsibilities / Activities:Responsibilities% Time•
Perform and report scheduled cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Compile daily count results and share summaries with the inventory management team.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly to prevent cumulative errors.
- Utilize computer applications (spreadsheets, WMS, databases, email, etc.) for inventory reporting and data entry.
- Prioritize workload with supervisor/lead to ensure all assigned tasks are completed within scheduled hours.90%• Other duties and tasks as assigned.10%Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed (before or after regular schedule).
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems.
- Professional demeanor and effective communication when working with internal teams or external contacts.
- Strong written communication skills for preparing and maintaining reports.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities or working conditions.
- Consistent adherence to scheduled work hours, attendance policies, and reporting requirements.
Essential Mental Demands:
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition and subtraction).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Essential Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and up to 2 hours without sitting.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs frequently, 25 lbs occasionally, and more than 25 lbs infrequently.
- Ability to grasp small items, reach, bend, rotate, and stoop regularly.
- Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, or pull materials.
- Visual acuity for close-up work and detail inspection.
Typical Work Environment:
- Standard warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 70–90°F.
- Exposure to limited to moderate dust and moderate noise from machinery and forklift activity.

- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following all safety procedures and promptly reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Comply with all company policies regarding safety, data handling, and inventory procedures to ensure organizational integrity.
