The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for preparing items for shipment and coordinating the receipt and dispatch of materials, parts, and finished goods according to scheduled requirements. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information, counts, weights, and measurements against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.

Determine shipping methods based on customer requirements or best available options; coordinate pickup schedules to meet delivery timelines.

Select appropriate cartons, assemble containers, and pack products according to weight and count requirements.

Generate, affix, or stencil shipping labels and barcodes; create packing slips and ensure documentation accuracy.

Load and unload trucks; ensure products are properly packed and ready for shipment.

Manage shipments to and from outside processors, generate purchase orders, and record transactions in JobBoss.

Maintain adequate inventory of shipping supplies and materials.

Receive incoming supplies and materials, verify quantities, perform visual inspections, and record data in JobBoss (including lot numbers when applicable).

Tag, store, and route incoming materials to proper locations; notify departments of deliveries.

Identify and report damaged or incomplete shipments; coordinate with Quality or Purchasing as needed.

Maintain finished goods inventory and pull stock for repeat or blanket orders.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Participate in quality training and adhere to all company quality standards and procedures.

Assist with facility maintenance or raw material delivery as needed.
