Job Title: Piano & Voice Instructor

Location: Dallas
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours/week

• Weekdays: 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and professional music instructors for piano lessons (group and individual) and voice instruction. The ideal candidates will have a strong musical background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with students of varying ages and skill levels in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

For voice instruction, candidates with classical vocal training are strongly preferred. The client is focused on finding the right long-term fit and is flexible on start timing, with a potential need beginning in the Fall.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality group and individual piano instruction
• Teach voice lessons with proper vocal technique and musical development
• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to student skill levels and goals
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with students and families
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and preparedness for all lessons
• Support recital preparation and overall musical growth of students

Qualifications

• College education required; degree in Music or related field preferred
• Classical vocal training strongly preferred for voice instructor candidates
• Previous teaching or private lesson experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and connect well with students and families
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Schedule & Hiring Timeline

• Approximately 30 hours per week
• Evening and Saturday availability required
• Client may delay hiring until Fall depending on Summer coverage needs, but is open to identifying the right candidate in advance
