Job Full Description
Local Fabric & Carpet Co. is in need of Carpenter to Build Shipping Crates
Key Responsibilities:
- Build quality crates for shipping rugs and other items as necessary
- Manage inventory and stock of supplies and tools in the crating area
- Assist with Rug Warehouse duties as needed
- Accurately follow work orders
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Energetic & self-motivated
- Dependable and reliable
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability with measurements, fractions and numbers
- Knowledge of use and proper handling of tools a must
- Certification to use large equipment, such as forklift, a plus
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs; Occasionally team lift and/or move objects that weight more than 55lbs
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Schedule- Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
