Job Full Description
A credit union near downtown Fort Worth is hiring a member services representative.
Pay: $16-17/hr, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, rotating Saturdays
Duties:
- As a back up to the other Member Service Reps, will assist members with opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Maintains a teller drawer and performs teller duties as needed. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
- Directs incoming member traffic to the appropriate employee of either the Member Service Department or the Lending Department, depending on the product or service requested. Communicates with each member as to the estimated time of wait and directs them to the seating areas. Distributes required forms the member can complete while waiting to help expedite the request. Greets each member with a smile and a greeting as they enter and leave the Credit Union
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services and products to members
- Acts as liaison between members and the other Credit Union departments
- Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared
