Job Full Description

A transportation company is adding a dispatcher to their team! 

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Pay: $22-27/hr

 

Duties:

• Answer phones, take messages, and route calls

• Maintains a strong professional relationship with drivers to ensure smooth operations

• Review of all work orders prior to shipment pick-up or delivery

• Communicates potential issues upward to the Load Planners, Coordinators, and Customer Service in the event of potential service failures

Requirements: 

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of Excel required
