Quality Engineer
Metal manufacturing facility in Dallas is seeking a Quality Engineer!!
Responsibilities include:

Design and implement rigorous inspection plans, testing methods, and quality standards for raw materials and finished products

Lead root cause analysis (using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA) to resolve non-conformances and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans

Maintain and update Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and conduct internal and supplier audits

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like scrap rates, first-pass yield, and customer defect trends to generate performance reports

Partner with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements early in product development
Ideal candidates will have:

2+ years in a Quality Engineer role in manufacturing facility - metal highly preferred

Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean, and Six Sigma frameworks (Green or Black Belt certification preferred)

Professional credentials like Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are a strong plus

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
