Position: Logistics Specialist
A manufacturing company in North Fort Worth, 76177 zip code, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to their team!
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Direct Hire
- Onsite
Pay: $20-24/hr
Position Responsibilities:
- Managing shipments from initiation to completion and record on the systems
- Booking shipments with carriers and coordinating pickups and deliveries as needed
- Supporting cargo claims through documentation, customer updates, and issue resolution
- Creating, updating, and maintaining work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Position Qualifications:
- Experience in international logistics, transportation, and customs clearance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong multitasking skills, entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving ability, and keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated work ethic and motivation for professional development
- Basic statistical analysis capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully and professionally with customers and internal teams
