Quality Engineer
Aerospace company in north Fort Worth is adding a Quality Engineer to their team!!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent job experience
- 2 years of experience working in ISO9001 / AS9100 Quality Management System
- Computer skills should include Microsoft Office
- Clear verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to explain procedures to a diverse team
Basic Duties
- Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures
- Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place
- Engage in product failure investigations and corrective/preventive action
- Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes
Inspection
- Support First Article Inspection activities
- Support customer source inspection activities
Training
- Assist in training production and inspection employees on inspection requirements
- Mentor new inspection personnel on quality requirements
- Make recommendations for training personnel, and updating / creating new training
