Job Full Description
POSITION: Dimensional Quality Inspector
Pay: $19 per hour
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing engineer provided drawings and specifications along with the included route sheet to determine production requirements.
- Ensure assembly components are processed at the correct quantities.
- Ensure components dimensions meet engineer provided drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all production processes have been completed as required.
- Ensure marking/labeling is complete and accurate as required.
- Ensure calibration of necessary equipment is up to date. Issue recall notification to management if needed.
- Complete internal and external non-conformance reports as required.
- Performs internal quality assurance audits throughout production floor.
- Performs general inspection and maintenance of audit records.
- Inspects units, components, and subcomponents prior to shipment and incoming.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years inspection experience
- Able to read blueprints and verify dimensional data using various inspection equipment such as calipers, go/no gauges, tape measures, etc.
