Office Clerk/Administrative Assistant
Location: Dayton, TX 77535
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
Position Overview
Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Clerk/Administrative Assistant in the Dayton, TX area. The ideal candidate will provide general administrative support and help ensure smooth daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service
- File documents and maintain organized filing systems
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Prepare and copy documents as needed
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as assigned
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous office experience preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
