CNC Operator
Location: Houston, TX 77041
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour and up (based on experience)
Reports To: Shop Supervisor
Summary
Hiring experienced CNC operators for two positions in Houston. Position 1: Operate TSUGAMI screw machine with FANUC control, make adjustments and setups. Position 2: Operate MAZAK mill with Smooth control, program and set up machine. Pay starts at $26/hour based on experience. Candidates will be tested during interview.
Positions Available
Position 1: CNC Screw Machine Operator
- Operate TSUGAMI screw machine with FANUC control
- Make adjustments and setups on the CNC
Position 2: CNC Mill Operator
- Operate CNC mill with MAZAK Smooth control
- Program on the machine and perform setups
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Set up, load, and operate CNC machinery safely
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerances
- Edit G-code programming
- Perform tool wear offsets
- Use inserts, fixtures, and tooling properly
- Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance
- Follow ISO and safety procedures
- Maintain production records
Requirements
- CNC operation experience
- Screw Machine: FANUC control and TSUGAMI (or similar) experience
- Mill: MAZAK Smooth control, programming, and setup experience
- Blueprint reading
- Precision measuring tools proficiency
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
