Express is Hiring – Oilfield Mechanic (Lubbock, TX)
Pay: $20.00–$35.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Oilfield Mechanic to work on pulling units in field operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and proven experience in mechanical repair of oilfield equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in demanding field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on pulling units (workover rigs)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and controls
- Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems and wiring
- Conduct field repairs and preventative maintenance on oilfield equipment
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety standards
- Be available for on-call assignments and work in field conditions
- Maintain a strong work ethic and commitment to oilfield safety standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in automotive and diesel engine repair
- Familiarity with pulling units and oilfield equipment
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and hand tools
- Capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials during repairs
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
