Job Description
Express Employment Professionals in Lubbock, TX is seeking motivated and dependable Electrical Laborers to support a reputable power services company. This role involves assisting with the installation and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and related equipment.
This is a travel-based position, requiring trips from Lubbock to Afton, TX and potentially other job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of UPS systems and electrical components
- Lift, move, and position batteries and equipment (heavy lifting required)
- Perform general site cleanup, including wiping down and maintaining equipment
- Support electricians and technicians on active job sites
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain tools and ensure a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, electrical labor, or wind energy preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
- Willingness to travel for job assignments
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
Required Certifications
- OSHA 10
- CPR Certification
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code familiarity preferred)
