Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator for a well-established agricultural/food manufacturing company in Plainview, TX. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving safety initiatives, ensuring environmental compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across plant and field operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
- Develop and implement safety programs, procedures, and inspection protocols
- Lead employee safety training, onboarding, and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain accurate records (Forms 300, 300A, 301)
- Investigate incidents and accidents using root cause analysis techniques
- Support return-to-work programs and workers’ compensation processes
- Lead Safety Committee meetings and promote workplace safety initiatives
- Track and report safety KPIs and performance metrics
- Assist with ISO-14001 environmental compliance programs
- Partner with leadership to improve safety across equipment, processes, and procedures
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Manage safety budgets and departmental expenses
- Promote and uphold company-wide safety culture and 6S principles
Qualifications
Education (Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Agriculture, Plant & Soil Science, Agronomy, or related field
Certifications (Preferred):
- Basic Supervisor Training
- HACCP
- GMPs
Experience:
- 5+ years of EHS experience in:
- Agricultural manufacturing
- Food manufacturing
- Industrial/manufacturing environments
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance
- Experience with root cause analysis and safety investigations
- Understanding of 6S/continuous improvement principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
