Industrial Maintenance Technician – HVAC / Utilities
Express Employment Professionals – Lubbock, TX
Pay:$20.00 – $22.00 per hour DOE
Available Shifts
B Shift
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Every other Saturday and every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
C Shift
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: Every other Wednesday and every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant utility systems and equipment
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems and components
- Inspect, install, relocate, modify, and repair facility equipment as needed
- Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments
- Test electrical systems and backup utilities
- Support and maintain energy management and conservation programs
- Calibrate critical components and ensure equipment remains in safe working condition
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
Qualifications
- Working knowledge and experience with:
- Basic electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- Plumbing systems
- Pneumatic systems and pneumatic controls
- HVAC maintenance and repair experience preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and utilities
- Strong attention to safety and preventative maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred
